There are many cricket grounds throughout the United Kingdom. Although there are only 18 first-class counties, most have a number of grounds at which they regularly play. Cricket is changing every year & some of these grounds are changing too. Some are being upgraded & some are being replaced as counties attempt to become test venues. On this website I hope to capture these grounds using my digital camera & hopefully a little of the atmosphere that exists within them. I am a Sussex county member & you will have to excuse the preference that I will no doubt give to my home county. As the seasons go on, it is my hope that you will be able to view some of the changes that will take place at these grounds. Although this site is designed as a pictorial record only, there will be a few comments about the grounds & you will have to indulge me in that. I aim to constantly update the site, so do log on regularly . |

As well as pictures of the grounds, there will be pictures of some of the players. Cricket is such an unusual sport in that the players make themselves very accessible to the supporters & long may it continue. Players who've been captured in 2000 include Shane Warne, Alan Mullally & Ian Botham. Do enjoy my web site on the county cricket grounds of the United Kingdom. |
